Great weekend break - lovely central location to visit the Isle of Wight Stayed on a serviced pitch in our touring caravan. EHU, waste & clean water supplies all conveniently placed. Toilet, shower, dish washing area & laundry facilities were plentiful & spotless (although we used our own due to Covid). Touring area of the site well laid out with gravel hard standings as well as grass pitches. Plenty of space & well maintained. We met up with friends who were staying in static caravans - one a disabled and one ordinary. The disabled caravan had been thoughtfully adapted and the friend staying in it said that it ticked all the boxes for her. Both caravans were very clean and well equipped.

A Welcome Break Despite the wet weather and it being the busy half term holidays we had a good time. We booked late and could only get a Russett which we understood to be an older van. It was very clean and well maintained and we found it warm and cosy. We enjoyed exploring the IOW which was a little restricted because of COVID. We were told which facilities were closed at the site when we booked but I doubt we would have used the pool anyway! We ate from the take away every evening which was fab and very good value. A great mini break before lockdown 2 started and we will definitely be coming back next year. We would recommend if you are looking for a good value for money getaway.

Short Holiday This is a small caravan site near Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight. Reception do all they can to help, small shop with a good selection and a takeawy which we did not use. It has other ammenities but due to covid 19 were not open. There is also space for campers and caravans to pitch. Booking is advisable.

First time in a caravan I wanted a short break with my dogs. I have never stayed in a caravan before so was unsure what to expect. Well, from start to finish it was truly amazing! I was greeted with the warmest welcome from karen at reception and me and my dogs where shown to our home for the next few days. It wasn't a caravan as i imagined, there was every amenity you could ask for . A welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar and fresh milk was provided. There was a walk in shower and huge lounge with a flat screen tv. The bed was made up with luxurious covers and i slept really well. I have never taken my dogs away before and they loved the space and walks available. They is a well stocked supermarket and take away. I can't wait to go back, in fact i have booked again for 2 weeks time. As an added bonus Micheal Jordan from Micheal Jordan Caravans Guildford is the new owner. He certainty knows what he is doing with this place. Home from home.

OK This was our 6th stay at the the Orchards. We stayed in a Bramley caravan, so 1 category down from their best Roxbury caravans. Positives For School holidays, good value compared to other parks Friendly staff Quiet and Family friendly Site is very tidy and cared for Beds now made up on arrival, which is great! Location is very good Close to towns for supplies and visits Negatives Pools closed due to COVID. I do appreciate this, but it a major part of our childrens holiday experience, which lead to sometimes bored children! Takeaway was not brilliant. Ordered cod and chips and received a small ish piece of clearly frozen over cooked fish and mushy chips. Very busy and had to wait for 90 minutes for food to be ready. The shop was VERY under stocked, which was disappointing as we have previously bought a lot of our food and drinks from here to support the shop. Parking is beyond a joke. Several inconsiderate drivers who dump their cars over possibly 2 spaces, making it very difficult to park on numerous occasions. The Bramley caravan is showing its age, 1 sofa broken and the other with seats dipping.

August bank holiday weekend We went on a last minute camping trip for August bank holiday weekend. I chose this campsite purely because it was the only one I could find on the whole island with availability. However, we got lucky. It is a lovely campsite. The only downside was we were camped on a hill but on the upside the views were beautiful. The showers, toilets and washing up area were the best I have ever come across. Well designed and extremely clean. It was great to have an on-site shop to buy cold milk in the morning and cold alcohol in the evening :). We also loved being able to buy freshly cooked warm croissants from the Takeaway in the morning. The opening hours changed on 1st September (this morning) though and the takeaway is now open less. The site have done a lot to make it COVID safe including saying children can’t go around the campsite on their own. Thankfully though this was not being enforced so the kids could play as they normally would with kids from other pitches and at the park. Overall this was a lovely park and would no doubt be really great when the swimming pools are open.
